EMMA FRANCOIS (founding editor) teaches writing at George Washington University and American University, where she also earned her MFA in Creative Writing. Her journalism, fiction, and essays—about art, the environment, and love—have appeared in numerous publications including The Citron Review, Inquisitive Eater, Washington Post, and USA Today.
CRISTI DONOSO (poetry editor) is an Ecuadorian American writer whose work has been published in The Journal, The Threepenny Review, The Cincinnati Review, The Shore, Lake Effect, and others. Her first collection of poetry was a finalist for the 2024 Akron Poetry Prize and the 2024 Gatewood Prize. Born in Quito, she now lives in Virginia.
JAMIE HENNICK (prose editor) is a queer literary fiction writer and poet based in D.C. An alumna of the Southampton Writers’ (2022) and Wesleyan Writers’ Conferences (2008, 2014), and Juniper Institute (2024), Jamie is currently working on a collection of short fiction that explores the dimensions of non-romantic intimacies, grief, sisterhood and memory. She earned her MFA at American University, along with the Myra Sklarew Award for remarkable originality in a prose thesis. Her work can be found in The Dickinson Review, The Colorado Review (online), and The Palisades Review, among others.
